Corrections and Updates Policy

News develops. World News View will correct material factual errors as soon as they can be verified, show a meaningful update time and explain substantial changes in the relevant article where necessary. Minor typography changes may not need a full correction notice. Corrections should state what was previously inaccurate and what evidence supports the updated wording. We will distinguish a revised estimate from a correction to a reporting error. Send a precise article URL, the disputed claim and supporting evidence through the verified editorial contact on the Contact page. The publisher will review requests in good faith; neither a complaint nor a viral assertion automatically proves a correction is required.
